We continue with Part 3 of our weekly Peacemaker series.  This week we take up the topic of “Trusting the Lord” in view of conflict and difficulty.  This weeks discussion questions are as follows:

Are there instances you can share where you trusted God?
What hinders us from trusting God?
Do you look at your disputes as:

Something happening by chance?
Something caused by someone else?, or
Something God allows in your life for a specific purpose?

What do Psalms 37 and 73 warn us not to do?  What do they teach us to?  What comforting promises do you find?
Would your feelings, attitudes and behaviour change if you saw your dispute as an assignment from a perfectly loving and all-powerful God?
Practical Exercise: Write a prayer to God, based on the principles covered in this session.
