History

Rideauview Bible Chapel opened its doors in 1967, after the congregation outgrew the Grace and Truth Chapel on Clarey Avenue in the Glebe. For two years during construction, we met at the McGregor Eason Public school on Dynes road. As part of the post-war boom, the congregation had many growing families.

Our Vision

Be a Church Family

Be a Body of Believers

Be a Lighthouse

Be a Center of Learning

As a local gathering of those with faith in Jesus Christ we meet to worship each Sunday at the Breaking of Bread, for fellowship and encouragement, and for singing and learning together. We also meet at various times throughout the week for prayer, Bible study, fellowship and service – all such gatherings are to provide a place of care and encouragement.

How to Find Peace

The Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 27, says this: “Peace I leave with you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans in chapter 5, verse 1, says this: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” The Lord Jesus Christ brings peace to our troubled lives. Do you know Him in a real and personal way?
